A HAMPSHIRE law firm has made the shortlist for the Legal Aid Firm of the Year for the second year running.
Southampton law firm Swain & Co Solicitors is one of three firms recognised for helping out those with dire legal needs.
Graeme Swain, The Avenue firm’s managing partner, said: “We are very excited to yet again be considered to be one of the best, if not the very best, firm in the country for legal aid work.
“The awards ceremony celebrates the work that legal aid lawyers, barristers and law firms across the country carry out on a daily basis. Against the battering of legal aid changes, cutbacks, threats and uncertainty, it will be a good opportunity to celebrate what we and other legal aid lawyers achieve.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on July 2.
