TIME Team’s Phil Harding joined more than 100 local schoolchildren for Iron Age activities at Danebury Hill Fort, near Stockbridge, last week.
Some of the children came from Wherwell Primary school and took part in re-enacting, spinning, cooking, flint-knapping and storytelling, all based around the Iron Age.
TV archaeologist Phil Harding is well known for appearing in Time Team on Channel 4 and is local to the area, having been born and raised in Wiltshire.
The project was funded by The Heritage Lottery, which uses money raised through the National Lottery to sustain and transform our heritage.
