Bradford Chamber will welcome its new president at the group’s annual meeting and networking lunch this month.
Paul Mackie, of Rex Procter & Partners, will take over from Stephen Wright, of Thorite, as he steps down from the role.
Simon Spencer, the UK managing director of Borg Warner which has a manufacturing plant in Bradford, will be the keynote speaker at the meeting on July 23.
Borg Warner is a global leader in precision engineering and recently won a major contract to supply Jaguar Land Rover, which led to a new engineering centre supported by a £2.3 million grant from the Government's Regional Growth Fund.
The meeting is at 12noon, with lunch at 12.40pm, at the Cedar Court Hotel, Bradford. Call (01274) 354758 to book a place.
