A POLICE helicopter has been launched this afternoon to help trace a group of “nuisance motorcyclists” in Southampton.

The helicopter has been flying over the Millbrook and Redbridge areas of the city as back-up for officers on the ground who began searching for the bikers shortly before 4pm.

Police vehicles were also stationed at Test Lane as the hunt got underway.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.

Trying looking around the fields and woods between Testwood School, the Salmon Leap and Calmore Industrial Estate. It's not far from Redbridge across the marshes and there are always motorcycles being ridden by young uninsured riders without helmets. It's been going on for several years and, although there has been a lull in activity during the past month or so, it's picked up again since Friday. Please can the helicopter fly over this part of Totton while its in the air?

Well, they aren't allowed to hence why they are being pursued by the police

Thing is they are not insured and I am sure they would get away without paying compensation. Or worse still if they killed someone.

Millbronx Twitter HQ gets very active when these events happen. Maxwell has got nothing much better to do on Sunday afternoons, just reports on what he sees out of his office window.

Natural selection will do the job for these thugs when they participate in risky behaviour, when the release of the hormone testosterone reaches its maximum. Dangerous and reckless shows of strength, negligence, and a high propensity to violence lead to an increase in the number of fatal accidents.

Sometimes, I genuinely wonder if you lot on here are having a competition to see who can make the most insane comment, some of you are truly reprehensible human beings. At the drop of a hat, and in reaction to the smallest of incidents; a worrying number of you immediately turn to Social Darwinism, eugenics, mass murder and fascism as solutions. It's not the muppets on their bikes that are the really dangerous ones, it's you.

When I was 40 years younger about 1972 or 1973 I bought a motorcycle jacket (black leather and a bit tight even then) for £5 from a young man known to me who seemed streetwise in the Angel pub. He said he removed the badge because there is some habitual practice you can only wear "colours?" or badges..they have a term for it, if you have been accepted by the group. Gangs and gangstalking are parasites on our youth. Nostalgia is not what it was, and motorcyclists can be taken over for any reason now just to prove they can be by a new gang system.
I was told the removed badge related to a "66 motorcycle club" or something similar (it was a disinhibited pub conversation) hailing from the Totton area where a Cafe then was a habitual place of these outsider's intimate congress. I eventually sold the jacket to another enthusiast with this seminal story and so the story propagated even further even without the badge. It sounds to me as if the police are aware of motorcycle gangs and the way they instil their rules or discipline outside of their own police feeling it is THEY who should be putting it about a bit. Recently I revisited my motorcycling days with a new machine but small boys would laugh when they saw me appear unexpectedly over hump backed bridges. So I am still an outsider of becoming an outsider. But it is that that is really cool. I make my own rules now. Gangs are all about servility, if you push it a bit.
Beware, in that respect, Monarch Programming...it is gang culture gone mad and apparently feeds off any sort of culture, including motorcycling culture, like a parasite. Outsiders are a good place to deniably insert a new dodgy virus from an even dodgier hidden past into the youth of our generation, today even more so than before, when it was just a cool thing to get involved in. Google my name, Tim Baber, with the words Villa Almarin.
