2:40pm Wednesday 28th August 2013 in News
THE largest wildlife art exhibition of its kind in Europe will open in Hampshire this week.
The 15th MIWAS (Marwell International Wildlife Art Society) annual exhibition will take place at Rookesbury Park Manor, Rookesbury Park School, Wickham, from Friday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
The three-day event will feature more than 600 exhibits from over 200 artists and sculptors.
There will be a daily indoor art market, which will also be open on the Friday evening from 7pm to 9.30pm, with live demonstrations from artists.
A popular feature of the event is the display of the original winning paintings from the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year 2013 competition.
Entrance to the event is free, with free parking, and tea rooms are available to all who attend.
Along with the opportunity to see some of the leading wildlife artists in the UK and overseas on display, all exhibits are available to purchase.
