Help make masks for carnival ball
11:10am Tuesday 3rd September 2013 in News
MASQUERADAS are starting the party early ahead of a community carnival in Southampton.
Helpers are needed to create masks on Saturday and Sunday in the Wool House in Bugle Street in preparation for a Venetian inspired carnival and masked ball taking place at the medieval building on Saturday, September 14.
On the day of the carnival there will be a final mask making session from 11am, a parade and a story walk at 3.30pm and a ticketed ball at 8pm with supper and music.
The event celebrates the historic link between the city’s wool trade and Venice. Search the Wool House on Facebook to get involved.
