Man cleared of harassment after case is dismissed

A WINCHESTER man who denied two allegations of harassment has been cleared.
Nicholas Savell, 36, of Connaught Road, Worthy Down, denied following Claire Savell on the A34 on May 18 causing her to feel pestered and harassed and in breach of a non-molestation order.
Mr Savell also pleaded not guilty to another charge of harassment by going to Ms Savell’s home in Blackwell Road, Worthy Down, and sending text messages between May 3-18.
The case was due for trial but prosecutors offered no evidence and magistrates dismissed the case.
