Planning chiefs have delayed a decision on a controversial giant wind farm near Winchester.
More than 3,000 people have already put pen to paper about Bullington Cross wind farm on farmland north of Winchester.
Developer EDF Energy Renewables has been given more time to respond to concerns raised and a decision is not now expected until February 2014.
Plans to build 14 126-metre masts – each taller than Battersea Power Station chimneys – were submitted in April.
Planning officers will have to weigh up the clean energy benefits of the scheme against visual impact before recommending it for approval or rejection by councillors sitting on planning committees of the three councils.
French-owned EDF has said the wind farm would supply the electricity needs of eight per cent of the population in Winchester, Test Valley and Basingstoke council areas.
Objectors include the Ministry of Defence, Popham Airfield, Chilbolton Observatory, North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, The Campaign for the Protection of Rural England, British Horse Society, South Downs National Park plus three parish councils.
