1:20pm Tuesday 10th September 2013 in News
AN ELDERLY woman whose body was found at her home died from heart disease, an inquest heard.
Wendy Poyser was discovered in a chair in her lounge after her carer called the police when she could not get inside the New Milton home.
The 70-year-old, of Lymington Road, had recently fractured her ankle in a fall and was seen by a carer twice a day.
Southampton Coroner’s Court heard that a post-mortem revealed the mother-of-three, who lived alone and had a history of Type 2 diabetes and asthma, died as a result of heart disease.
Deputy Coroner Gordon Denson ruled that Mrs Poyser died on June 5 from natural causes.
