Runners take part in annual 10-mile Yomp for Adam's Hoofing Hut

RUNNERS turned out in the New Forest to raise money for a cause close to their hearts.
The annual ten-mile Yomp for Adam’s Hoofing Hut attracted 60 people who came from as far away as Surrey to take part.
The fund has raised more than £126,000 to pay for a beach hut at a favourite spot of Royal Marine Commando Adam Brown, who died in Afghanistan in 2010 at the age of 25.
The hut in Mudeford is used by injured marines and their families.
Commando Brown was from Somerset but his uncle John Mouland was a firefighter in Fordingbridge for decades, and his former colleagues have thrown their weight behind the campaign, with many turning out to run from the station through Whitsbury, Rockbourne and Sandleheath.
The run raised £550, which will go towards the ground rent of £3,500 and a campaign to replace the hut with a wheelchair- friendly design.
