- THERE’S even more laughs at Fareham’s Ashcroft Arts Centre this week.
Mark Thomas goes back to what he does best, mischief, tonight.
The show is his quest to commit 100 Acts of Minor Dissent in the space of one year.....Subversive, funny, probably legal and occasionally inspiring.
Multi award-winning comedian Rob Beckett, as seen on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, will leave you happier than when you arrived, on Wednesday.
- DIRECT from a smash-hit West End season, comes Room on the Broom. Adapted for the stage from the best-selling book by children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson MBE and Axel Scheffler, the creators of The Gruffalo, it’s at Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday and Thursday.
The witch and her cat are flying happily along on their broomstick when a stormy wind blows the witch’s hat, bow and wand away into the night.
With the help of a daft dog, a beautiful bird and a friendly frog, her belongings are retrieved. But this broomstick’s not meant for five and – crack! – it snaps in two! When a hungry dragon appears, who will save the poor witch?
And will there ever be room on the broom for everyone?
- JOIN the musical storytellers at The Berry Theatre in Hedge End tomorrow morning for enchanted tales both familiar and new.
As you step onto the stage you will be transported into a magical indoor story garden; where music, laughter and imagination run wild in a fun-filled 45 minutes. Each Storytime session ends with interactive play time, where everyone becomes part of the story.
