On 1 October TV personality Esther Rantzen will again be present at The Lights to hand out prizes to the winners as the town celebrates with those who have shown extreme dedication to their community.
Barbara Long, of the Pride of Andover committee, said: “We have all met people we feel lucky to know in Andover and this year’s finalists show that those people are making a difference in so many areas of our community.
“Many have said how honoured they feel at being nominated.
“The judging panel found it extremely difficult to choose the finalists – this year we have more finalists than any other year.”
