Plans to extend Locks Heath Free Church approved
Controversial plans to extend a Hampshire church have been approved.
A cheer and applause went up as councillors unanimously approved the proposal by the Locks Heath Free Church having refused it last summer.
Members of Fareham Borough Council's planning committee said the two concerns they had raised the previous time on car parking and the potential commercial use of the building had been addressed.
The application is for a 400 person capacity extension and more car parking.
It was granted with a section 106 agreement to ensure that neither the new or old building could be used for commercial purposes.
