Concern has been growing over the state of St Maurice’s Covert, the increase in the number of large bins since the market relocated to the High Street, pigeon mess and empty shops.

Officers are drawing up a brief for consultants to come up with ideas to improve the covered area. An informal group of councillors will look at the issue and report back to the next forum on November 27.
