11:32am Sunday 6th October 2013 in News
A DRUG user found dead in his flat may have caught fatal pneumonia because of his long term use of substances lowered his immune system, an inquest heard.
A friend found Peter Singleton, 48, dead in his home in Belvedere House, in Kent Road, Southampton, on August 14 this year.
A pathologist report found a level of cocaine in his system that suggested recreational use and the court heard how Mr Singleton had been abusing substances since aged 14.
Pathologist Vipul Foria said his immunity would have been affected by drug use.
Southampton coroner Keith Wiseman determined it was death by natural causes
