HE’S the fundraiser aiming to run ten miles to give his terminally ill sister-in-law and her family a special gift.
Lee Good is running ten miles from Fleetwood to Blackpool in October to raise £1,000 for Charlene Surtees, from Marchwood, who is battling cancer.
He wants to raise the cash to send her and her family on a holiday to Disneyland Paris or give them a special Christmas.
Charlene met her husband Rick, originally from Lytham St Anne’s in Lancashire, after he moved to Southampton area to be a port operator.
Lee, from Fylde, is partially blind and has been training with The Fylde Coasters.
He will embark on the challenge on Sunday.
He said: “Mr target is to raise £1,000 to maybe send the family on holiday to Disneyland Paris or to give them a Christmas to remember as it could most likely be their last together.
“The family are hoping to travel to Blackpool for the run.”
