HEALTH gadgets could be saving the NHS billions.
A survey has found that 37 per cent of people in Southampton are turning to health gadgets for help instead of their doctor, a trend which could save vital cash as fewer people make visits to NHS services.
Research conducted by PriceSpy.co.uk showed that pedometers and heart rate monitors are improving the health of people in the city.
But it is not all good news – 12 per cent of people have wrongly diagnosed themselves using gadgets.
