Academic nominated for Most Innovative Teacher of the Year award

A Southampton teacher from the University of Southampton has been shortlisted for “Most Innovative Teacher of the Year”.
Simon Kemp, Principal Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of Engineering and the Environment, is one of just six academics from across the UK in the running for the Times Higher Education magazine award - considered the Oscars of the higher education community.
“I am absolutely delighted to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award!” said Simon who is also chairman of Sustainability Action at the University. “Surprised obviously, but genuinely thrilled.”
The awards will be presented in London on November 28.
