Police probe launched into fight between Millwall and Bournemouth fans

PASSENGERS could hold vital clues into a fight on a train in Hampshire after the Bournemouth vs Millwall football match.
Transport police boarded the 9.12pm Bournemouth to Waterloo service at Brockenhurst Station last Saturday after reports that a group of men were seen fighting as the train pulled out of Bournemouth.
They found two men with facial injuries, but no witnesses came forward and no complaints were made.
Officers want to speak to anyone travelling on the train at the time Detective Constable Matt Bevan said: “At this stage, it remains unclear as to what exactly happened during the journey, or who was involved, so it is vital we hear from anyone who can help us with our enquiries.
“We believe that football fans were involved, and that the incident followed the Millwall vs Bournemouth match that took place earlier that day.”
