Missing Southampton University chef Kevin Davis-Walton found safe and well after two weeks
A MISSING Southampton man has been found safe and well after he was spotted by a friend in the city centre last night.
Concern had been growing for Kevin Davis-Walton, 54, of York Close, who had not been seen for two weeks.
A friend, Andrew Hall, spotted him in the High Street near the Bargate at around 6.30pm yesterday.
Mr Hall said: “I was in town and saw him and I said to him 'the police have been looking for you and everyone has been worried about you'.
“I rang 101 and stayed with him until the police arrived. I was surprised he had gone missing because he enjoys his job as a chef at the university,” added Mr Hall, 26, unemployed, of Janson Road, Shirley.
A police spokesman confirmed that Mr Davis-Walton had been found safe and well.
