Give your opinion on patient transport service
6:00am Thursday 17th October 2013 in News
PATIENTS are being invited to have their say on Hampshire’s transport services for non-emergency patients.
GPs across the region are looking for one single contract to provide Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services, instead of the five separate contracts currently in place.
Local clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) insist that the move will not affect patients in any way, instead just provide a more efficient and consistent service.
Dr Mike Johns, on behalf of the CCGs, said: “It’s really important for us to have patients’ views on what they think of the current service – what they think works well, and where they feel improvements could be made.”
Patients can have their say via a survey, which must be completed before October 31. For a copy, call 023 8062 7594.
