Former Southampton children's home to become flats
3:10pm Monday 21st October 2013 in News
A FORMER children’s home is set to find a new lease of life as flats for homeless single parents and their children.
The two storey building in 33 Selborne Avenue, in Harefield, Southampton, was previously a council home and then a family resource centre before falling into disuse.
Now with planning permission granted, the building is to be converted into 11 self contained flats for the temporary homeless.
