Hallowe'en fun for children on half-term
A PROGRAMME to entertain youngsters in the school holidays will return for the half-term break.
Hallowe’en Streetz will offer free evening activities for youngsters aged 11 to 17 from October 28 until November 1. Sessions will be offered in Buckskin, Popley, Chineham, Brighton Hill, Oakridge, Kingsclere, Rooksdown, South Ham, Eastrop, Tadley, Baug-hurst, Hatch Warren and Winklebury. They are funded by various organisations.
Councillor Cathy Osselton, borough council Cabinet member for partnerships, said: “The free sessions offer young people in the borough a chance to try out a new activity or continue one they may have tried during the summer.
“They also continue the great work done by the communities, supported by the council’s community development team, to work with their own young people to plan and run their activity sessions.”
