Eastleigh's Swan leisure complex partially reopens after storm damage
FOUR premises remain closed after storm damage led to safety concerns at a Hampshire leisure complex.
The shopping centre was unaffected and remains open.
The closure came after two windows were blown in during the storm in the early hours of yesterday at the leisure centre, which houses a cinema, bowling alley and a number of restaurants.
After the storm damage was identified on Monday, the areas around the affected unit were isolated for public safety.
A spokeswoman said after specialist advice and safety checks were carried out today, the Leisure Centre had opened with the exception of those units adjacent to Gambado where repair work is being undertaken.
The four units, currently closed are Gambado, Frankie and Benny's, Harvester and AMF Bowling.
She said: “Work is being carried out at present and we hope to have all the units open as soon as possible.”
