CarFest events raise £1m
11:00am Tuesday 5th November 2013 in News
CARFEST managed to raise more than £1 million for Children in Need from its two festivals this summer. Thousands of people flocked to Laverstoke Farm Park near Overton in August to see live music, vintage cars and much more at CarFest South. CarFest North was held in Chester before the festival moved south and over £500,000 was also raised there. Meanwhile, TICKETS for next year’s CarFest will be going on sale during November but local residents will be able to buy tickets before they go on general sale. If you would like to buy tickets in advance of the general public you can register at carfest.org/overtonresidents. Just as last year, only residents with a postcode RG25 3 and RG28 7 will be entitled to buy tickets early, and if you registered for tickets last year you do not need to register again. The deadline for registering for these early tickets is midday on Monday, 4 November.
