Woman attacked by men in her own garden in Hythe
A MUM was attacked by three men in her own backgarden, who threatened to harm her children if she went to the police.
As her children slept upstairs, the victim went into the garden of her home in Hythe, when she was grabbed by a man who had been hiding in her gazebo.
The man then held an unknown object to the throat of the 33-year-old victim, while two other men appeared.
All three men hit the woman in the face and whispered racist abuse to her. They knew the names of her children, whom they threatened if she went to the police.
She told police: “I was pulled the other side of the sheeting directly behind the patio doors. I immediately felt something pushing against my throat, and I was paralysed by fear. I just wanted to get away, but could not shout through fear.”
All three men had English accents. They wore dark clothing and covered their faces with dark masks with the eye holes cut out.
The incident happened on October 23, around 10pm in Beech Crescent, Hythe.
PC Ian McKay is investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the attackers is asked to contact him at Hythe police station on 101.
