The Kings Arms has been revamped
A WHITCHURCH pub has re-opened following a major refurbishment.
The Kings Arms, a Red Oak Taverns Limited pub, has been revamped and now includes a brand new kitchen.
The original features and character of the 17th century building have been retained, but project manager Pembrook Design has created a new layout which will allow diners to eat in comfort and drinkers to watch live sports from the bar and snug area.
Mark Grunnell, director of Red Oak, said: “We are delighted to continue the extensive refurbishment programme within our estate by bringing The Kings Arms back to its best.
“Whether through our tenanted or managed divisions, Red Oak strives to offer the best pub experience we can in the communities in which we operate, and The Kings Arms is no exception.”
Jane Davison, who joined as general manager following the refurbishment, added: “We extend a warm welcome to all in the community of Whitchurch at The Kings Arms.
“We offer an interesting range of cask ales, beers and wines, a delicious food menu including weekend brunch and Sunday lunch, as well as large screen sports TV and traditional bar sports.”
