River bursts banks near Beaulieu
A Hampshire river has burst its banks, flooding two roads in a neighbouring village.
Cars approaching Beaulieu were forced to turn back after drivers discovered that part of Palace Lane was flooded to a depth of several inches.
Lorries and 4x4s were able to get through but people driving smaller vehicles decided not to take the risk.

A combination of wind and heavy rain is thought to have caused the Beaulieu River to burst its banks overnight.
Less severe flooding has occurred on the B3056 road leading past the National Motor Museum.
No homes are reported to have been affected.
