Law firm hosts cocktail party for city's major companies

SOUTHAMPTON businesses were left stirred but not shaken by a cocktail event to help boost the city’s economy.
The city’s biggest companies came together for an evening of networking and to discuss the prospects for Southampton’s financial outlook at the event hosted by law firm Clarke Willmott LLP.
More than 100 people attended from firms including HSBC, Baker Tilly, BDO and Vear Group.
Kelvin Balmont, partner and head of Clarke Willmott’s Southampton office, said: “We were very pleased to see the business community so well represented at the event, providing an opportunity to network and build relationships.
“We are sensing confidence returning to the economy and are seeing growing demand across our full range of services.”
