THIEVES have struck at a Hampshire home while the owners were away on holiday.
The burglary happened at an address in East Lodge, off Catisfield Road, in Fareham and burglars took a gold ring with an opal stone, a gold Victorian style ring with different coloured stones, which was damaged and had a space with a missing diamond.
Also taken were a pair of silver blue Moreno glass earrings, a silver necklace, a gold shell pendant and a pair of green shell earrings. Their value is not yet known.
Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or vehicles in the area in the days leading up to and the time of the burglary, which happened sometime between 9am on November 15 and 6pm on November 22.
Anyone with information, any witnesses or anyone who recognises the jewellery can call PC Barry Martin at Fareham Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
