SOME of the city’s top young boxers swapped their gloves for robots as they went head to head.
Mitchell Turner, 10, from Thornhill, beat southern counties schoolboy boxing champion Lewis Well, 15, from Sholing in a boxing robot battle at a Whiteley toyshop.
The youngsters were showcasing Battroborg motion controlled battling robots at an event at The Entertainer in Whiteley Shopping Centre.
After watching the fight, six-year-old Harry June, from Whiteley, stepped into the ring and won the match and a limited edition golden Battroborg.
