Winnall interchange works to end this weekend
ROADWORKS to reduce congestion at the Winnall interchange at Winchester are due to finish this Sunday.
The Highways Agency has been adding a third lane to the roundabout at junction nine of the M3 where the A34, Easton Lane and the A272 converge.
The agency is also upgrading traffic signals and remarking the road surface and hopes this will ease the bottleneck.
As part of the work, the southbound A33 near Headbourne Worthy between the B3047 and the A34 will be closed overnight from 10pm tomorrow, until 5.30am on Friday, for white lining to be carried out.
