SNOW White and the Seven Dwarfs is this year’s Theatre Royal Winchester pantomime, the ninth in-house festive production.

Snow White escapes the clutches of her evil Stepmother and meets up with seven crazy dwarfs, who live in a cottage deep in the woods.

When the Wicked Queen uses her magic mirror to discover Snow White’s whereabouts, our heroine is once again in grave danger.

Will Snow be saved by her handsome prince, or will the Wicked Queen prove to be rotten to the core when it comes to the crunch? Does Castle Cook Dame Dolly Dollop and her silly son Muddles hold the recipe for success, or are they just cooking up trouble?

Perhaps the best loved fairy tale adventure of them all, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a story-led pantomime with some extra special touches, including a magic mirror that appears as a live character on stage; dwarfs that are a mixture of professional actors and child-cast; fantastic special effects including a magical transformation scene; and some beautiful hand-made costumes.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens on Wednesday and runs until Sunday, January 5.
