THE Royal Marines Band return to Southampton for their annual Christmas concert, courtesy of Britain’s major maritime charity, Seafarers UK.
As ever the audience will be able to enjoy an evening of festive music and fun. The popular Big Band sound will be featured as well as soloists from this talented group of musicians, whose reputation is second to none.
The Royal Marines Band Service is world renowned for the quality of its music, visual splendour and meticulous attention to detail on parade. The musicians and buglers of the Band Service are also renowned for their versatility on the concert platform.
Their repertoire includes stirring martial music, popular classics, music of the Big Band era, exciting contemporary works and solo features. See them at 02 Guildhall Southampton on Tuesday.
