NORMAL flights have resumed from Southampton Airport following the chaos causing by computer problems at the Hampshire base of air traffic controllers.
Hundreds of travellers from the airport were delayed after the glitches at the National Air Traffic Services control base in Swanwick near Fareham yesterday.
Some 100,000 people nationally had their flights delayed in the worst disruption since the volcano ash crisis in 2010. Those travelling were being advised to contact airlines before setting off to the airport.
Today services are running as usual with no reported delays.
