A MOPED has been completely destroyed by fire.

Police are treating the incident at Herrick Close, Thornhill, as suspected arson.

The red and black Peugeot Speed Fight, which belonged to a 34-year-old man was worth around £600. A Honda Civic, belonging to a 33-yearold man, parked nearby was also damaged. Firefighters from Hightown fire station put out the flames.

Anyone with information on the incident, which happened between 8.30pm and 8.45pm on Thursday, is asked to call Bitterne Police on 101.
