Police release e-fit in hunt for burglar POLICE are hunting a burglar who was seen jumping out of a window of a Hampshire home.

The e-fit released by officers is of a man who was spotted climbing out of a window of a house in Wilton Road, Southampton.

He fled empty-handed but police believe this is because he was disturbed by the 45-year-old woman who lives there.

He is described as having a square face with a fair complexion, rosy cheeks, bulbous eyes and round full lips.

He was wearing a thigh-length light grey coat and spoke broken English, with an Eastern European accent.

Anyone with information about the incident, which happened at 5.15pm on November 18, should call police staff investigator Neil Anderson at Shirley CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
