IT was game, set and match to planning chiefs after proposals to build a tennis court at a listed building were thrown out.
James Sherborne lodged an appeal after his application was rejected by the New Forest National Park Authority earlier this year.
But a planning inspector has dismissed the appeal.
The application related to Venard’s House, a Grade II listed building in Ringwood Road, North Gorley.
