A man and a woman have been arrested as part of the police investigation into alleged corrupt payments by journalists for information.
A 55-year-old man, a tutor, was arrested at a passenger ferry terminal on the Isle of Wight on suspicion of conspiracy to cause misconduct in a public office.
A retired 55-year-old woman, who is believed to have been previously employed in a prison, was arrested at her home in the Isle of Wight on suspicion of misconduct in public office and conspiracy to commit misconduct in a public office.
The man and woman are the 81st and 82nd people to be arrested by the Metropolitan Police as part of Operation Elveden, Scotland Yard's investigation into allegations that journalists paid public officials for information.
Both are currently being questioned at a Newport police station, while searches are being carried out at their home address.
Operation Elveden is being run alongside two other investigations - Operation Weeting, an inquiry into allegations of phone hacking, and Operation Tuleta, which is looking at claims of computer hacking and other privacy breaches.
