CIVIC chiefs have won a planning battle in the New Forest.
An applicant lodged an appeal after plans to replace a bungalow in Barrs Avenue, New Milton, with a house were rejected by New Forest District Council earlier this year.
But Government appointed planning inspector Michael Evans has dismissed the appeal, saying the bungalow would be “significantly bulkier” than a neighbouring property.
