TWENTY sick children received some early Christmas presents from kind-hearted scooter enthusiasts.
Members of the Due South Club dressed up as Father Christmas, a reindeer, an elf and Scooby Doo as they visited the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester.
They gave presents to children on the Northbrook Ward as part of a long-standing link between the Eastleigh-based club and the hospital.
They also handed over a cheque for £1,000 from themselves and the Hampshire Reprobates club, which will go towards the hospital’s Magic Wand Appeal.
In the past year they have raised more than £5,000 for the appeal, which aims to improve the hospital’s facilities.
