MORE than 100 ideas for innovation were captured at the most recent Hampshire Supplier Academy organised by Amey, which provides highways services for Hampshire County Council.
The event, entitled ‘Success through innovation’, was attended by 25 people from the local businesses that help Amey maintain the county’s 9,000km of roads. The aim was to encourage a culture of innovation across the local supply chain to help it deliver even better highways services in the future.
The event speakers included Julian Grant from Amey’s Group Innovation Team, along with Mark Coley and Matthew Hutton from Amey’s Area 9 Highways Agency contract, which manages the motorway network in the Midlands.
