A FUNERAL will take place this afternoon for a man who was killed along with his friend in a devastating car crash in Hampshire.
Family and friends will gather at St James Church in West End at 1pm today to say their final farewells to Tom Emery.
The service comes just a day after hundreds gathered for the funeral of his friend, 23-year-old power boat champion Dean Paling, at Wessex Crematorium.
As reported, Tom, 24, of Moorgreen Road, West End, was driving the car along Southwick Road towards Boarhunt when the crash happened at around 11pm on December 2.
Dean, a former Wildern School student from Holmesland Drive, Botley, was in the passenger seat.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene but were unable to save them.
