Some parts of the county can expect between 3-4cm of rain and winds of up to 50mph.
But Southampton is likely to escape the worst of the weather, with 1-2cm of rain predicted and winds of up to 40mph.
A spokesman said: “There is heavy rain moving in to the South which will last from 3pm today until 3pm tomorrow and Southampton will be hit later tonight, with the weather not clearing up again until the morning.”
