THIS is the man suspected of stealing meat from a Southampton shop and assaulting a member of staff.
Police have just released CCTV footage of a suspect who injured a 59-year-old woman at the Co-op in Thornhill Park Road, Southampton.
The man filled a large black Sports Direct bag with meat products worth £38 while a female accomplice acted as a lookout.
When the shop worker tried to intervene the man pushed past her, injuring her wrist.
He is described as white, thin and with a small moustache, wearing a grey New York Yankees baseball cap, blue jeans, white trainers, a green polo shirt and dark top.
His accomplice was described as white, of average build, with long tied-back ginger hair, wearing a white jumper, black coat, purple scarf and black leggings and carrying a black bag.
The incident occurred at around 4.10pm on Saturday, November 23.
