SAINTS star Adam Lallana and his fiancée have tied the knot – to avoid a fixture clash next summer.
The Southampton skipper had been set to marry Emily Jubb in the summer but on the planned June 14 date he is hoping to be part of the England squad at the World Cup finals in Brazil after impressing boss Roy Hodgson in two recent friendlies against Chile and Germany.
The pair, who have been together seven years, exchanged their dream wedding for a Christmas Eve register office at Poole attended by friends and family.
Lallana, who wore a dark blue suit, smiled and kissed Emily, who wore a cream dress, after the 30-minute service.
The couple have a one-year-old son, Arthur.
