A CYCLIST was left unconscious after being attacked by teenagers.

The 23-year-old victim was pulled off his bike by a group of five to six teenagers and then kicked while he was on the ground.

The unprovoked attack happened as the cyclist was riding home from work along the cycle track near the Rowner Road underpass, in Gosport.

He saw the group of white teenage boys on the cycle track and tried to ride around them.

During the assault that followed he was knocked unconscious and suffered facial injuries.

Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident which took place at around 2.15am on December 20, are asked to call CID at Fareham Police Station on 101 or leave information anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
