POLICE are today continuing their search for a Hampshire teenager after he disappeared for the second time in ten days.

Jordan Saunders first vanished on December 19 – having last been spotted in Eastleigh.

The 15-year-old’s disappearance sparked a police appeal with officers posting messages on social networking sites on Christmas Day urging him to return to his home in Gosport.

They eventually tracked him down nine days later in Southampton on Friday night after previous sightings of him in Eastleigh.

But their relief was shortlived when he subsequently vanished from his home the next day.

Concerns are now growing for his welfare once again and police last night renewed their appeal for information as to his whereabouts.

A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: “We can confirm Jordan Saunders was found safe in Southampton on Friday, December 27, and returned to an address in Gosport where he has been living.

“Police are aware the 15- year-old subsequently left this address in Gosport.

“His current whereabouts are not known.

“Officers are following several lines of inquiry and remain in contact with Jordan’s family.”

“We would appeal directly to Jordan to make contact with family or the police. He is not suspected of any crimes or antisocial behaviour.”

Jordan has links in the Eastleigh area, is known to visit Southampton and has other friends in Hampshire.

He looks much younger than his actual age and is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, of slim build and with floppy brown hair and freckles.

When he first went missing he was wearing a grey Ben Sherman coat, a dark hooded top and light-coloured tracksuit bottoms with two lighter stripes down the sides.

He was also wearing white trainers with bright green laces.

Jordan, or anyone who knows of his whereabouts, can contact police on 101 or by Mini-com on 18001 101.
