AN appeal has been launched to find a pensioner who has been missing for the past three days.

Edmund Jeske vanished from the Hythe area on Saturday and was last seen in Roseberry Avenue.

Edmund is 65 and described as 5ft 7ins, slim, with short grey hair. He was wearing work clothes and green Wellingtons.

Officers are very concerned for Edmund's welfare and would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or knows where he is.

He is believed to have links to the Hythe, Marchwood, East Boldre, Brockenhurst and Lymington areas.

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: “We know that people want to help but please don't conduct your own searches.

“We have specially trained officers looking for Edmund.”

Anyone with any information should call 101.
