TRAIN commuters face in Hampshire an afternoon of disruption due to an obstruction on the line.
An obstruction on the line at Hamble is causing delays of up to 30 minutes between Fareham and Southampton Central, National Rail has confirmed.
Some trains were being diverted between Fareham and Southampton Central, while South West Trains have ordered buses to run from Fareham to Swanwick, Bursledon, Hamble, Netley, Sholing, Woolston, Bitterne, and Swaythling.
Network Rail engineers have now cleared the obstruction, which was a branch that had fallen from a tree.
The line reopened around 12.50pm.
